The Big Three for Minnesota combined for 67 points, 29 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Timberwolves improved to 2-3 with a 115-109 victory over the Denver Nuggets. David Thompson led six Nuggets in double-figures as the Nuggets, the last winless team in the league, fall to 0-5.
