For the second time this year, a team was doubled in scoring after three periods, as the Los Angeles Lakers crushed the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-66. The Lakers won by 58 points, led by Kareem ABdul-Jabbar, who scored 18 points in 17 minutes. Wally Szczerbiak led Minnesota with 18.
