Kevin Johnson's tip in at the buzzer gave him the league's first triple-double not turned in by Oscar Robertson, and more importantly gave the Phoenix Suns their third straight win in a classic battle that was nip-and-tuck throughout. The Suns won 117-116 behind Kevin Johnson's and Walter Davis' 21 points, sending Utah to their first loss of the season, despite Jeff Hornacek's 21. Thirteen players from both teams finished in double figures.
