Indiana could not take advantage of a 43-point second quarter as Memphis won their second straight game with a 107-101 victory over the Pacers. The Grizzlies opened the game on a 13-0 run, but the Pacers exploded in the second quarter, led by Reggie Miller and Freddie Lewis. Miller was injured early in the third quarter and Indiana could not match their second quarter output in the entire second half. Pau Gasol led Memphis with 22 points and 13 rebonds, while Lewis led six Pacers in double figures with 16 points and Dale Davis and Herb Williams contributed double-doubles for Indiana.
