Rickey Green's 3-pointer with 1:50 left in the third quarter put Utah ahead for the first time, and Utah held on to win a battle of unbeaten teams as the Jazz defeated the Kings 104-94. Karl Malone led Utah with 26 points and 20 rebounds and John Stockton scored 17 for the Jazz. Oscar Robertson led Sacramento with 32 points and 21 rebounds.
