Miami jumped to a 16-2 lead at the start of the game and held on to send the Washington Wizards to their fourth loss in a row 119-101. Dwayne Wade led the Heat with 35 points, while Rony Seikaly scored 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Miami. Gus Johnson had 22 points and 11 boards off the bench for the Wizards.
