Kareem Abdul-Jabbar scored 29 points and Magic Johnson scored 28, leading 7 Lakers in double figures as the Lakers had their second straight 145-point plus game in a 147-120 shootout in Denver. The Lakers got out to a 30-point halftime advantage and never looked back, as Denver never challenged the Lakers. Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets with 20.
