An intense battle of centers in Charlotte as Bob Lanier's Pistons defeated Emeka Okafor's Bobcats 95-86 in Charlotte. Lanier led Detroit wiht 24 points and 11 rebounds, with 5 Pistons scoring in double figures in this low-scoring contest. Okafor led the Bobcats with 23 points and 16 rebounds, backed by DJ Augustin, starting for the injured Stephen Jackson, contributing 20 in defeat.
