Miami became the first team to 2 wins as they beat the Washington Wizards 103-93 in Washington. Tim Hardaway led the Heat with 21 points as four players scored at least 16 points for the Heat, including Rony Seikaly, who had 17 points and 18 rebounds off the bench. Elvin Hayed had 26 points and 15 rebounds for the Wizards.
