Milwaukee overcame injuries to Terry Cummings and Bob Dandridge to upset the Chicago Bulls on opening day 101-94. Glenn Robinson led the Bucks with 21 points off the bench while Marques Johnson had a double-double filling in at center. Michael Jordan led the Bulls with 34 points and 11 rebounds.
