Larry Bird scored 30 points and came within 2 assists of a triple double as the Celtics overcame an early rally to handily beat the Toronto Raptors 127-101. Robert Parish had 23 points for the Celtics, and John Havlicek had 21. Toronto was led by forward Chris Bosh's 27 points and 11 rebounds. The Celtics nearly doubled the Raptors' rebound output, led by Bill Russell's 25 boards.
