The New York Knicks took advantage of a 27-4 2nd quarter run to coast to their third straight win, a 104-79 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Walt Frazier led the Knicks with 19 points and six assists and Patrick Ewing contributed a double-double for the Knicks, whose stifling defense held the Cavaliers to 12 points in both the second and fourth quarters. Cleveland's LeBron James led all scorers with 20 points.

    Team Rebounds: NY 54-43
