This game between the two pre-season consensus last place Conference finishers lived down to its hype, as the Charlotte Bobcats coasted past the Minnesota Timberwolves 88-55 in this snooze-fest. Minnesota managed to scored a mere 5 points in the first quarter, as no Wolves player scored more than 10 points. Stephen Jackson led Charlotte with 15 points, while Emeka Okafor had 12 points and 17 rebounds for the Bobcats, who win their second straight.
